GTC Analytics’ Machine Learning Systems for Trajectory Analysis

TRACAIR

Funded by NASA, GTC Analytics developed the TRACAIR flexible trajectory anomaly detection framework to leverage many sources of dissimilar aviation data and deep learning techniques to aid in safety-critical decision-making in terminal airspace operations.

How It Works

By detecting trajectory anomalies, safety-critical risks, including flight outside of approved airspace, unsafe proximity to people/property, loss of command and control, loss or degraded GPS, loss of power, engine failure, and loss-of-control (i.e., outside the envelope or flight control system failure), can be identified in real-time to be used for prognosis and resolution of system-wide threats.
