Modeling & Simulation

GTC Analytics provides modeling & simulation solutions ranging from high-fidelity physics-based models to systems-of-systems level model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to accurately represent how physical systems behave. These solutions replace typical, document-based facility management methods to help organizations understand relationships between facilities, equipment, and stakeholders to make high-level decisions.

Decision Making

Enterprise Digital Twin

GTC’s Enterprise Digital Twin solution is designed to help an organization be better informed for enterprise-level decision-making, especially regarding its facilities. It is built on an MBSE (model-based systems engineering) enterprise model to understand relationships between facilities, equipment, stakeholders, etc. It then incorporates various datasets relevant to the facilities to display information in its dashboard to help make high-level decisions.
Campus Management, Including Energy & Resource Utilization

GTC Analytics researchers leverage their expertise in modeling and simulation to develop tools to enhance decision-making processes at an enterprise level. To replace traditional, inefficient document-based methods of facilities management, GTC Analytics designed and utilized state-of-the-art modeling, such as model-based systems engineering (MBSE), to provide quick and accurate information for informed decision-making.

Connect disparate data from across an organization

Perform “what if” and tradeoff analysis

Compile and process information into an easily understandable dashboard

Increase visibility of key information to stakeholders to enable better informed, data-driven decision-making around an organization’s facilities, assets, and operations

Modeling & Automation

ISHM (Intelligent System Health Management)

Automated Contingency Management of
GTC Analytics developed the Intelligent System Health Management (ISHM) software for modeling and automated control of water recycling systems and their subcomponents. Monitoring, optimal control, diagnostics, and prognostics of critical and remotely located water processing systems are required for effective planning, management, and operations of such critical assets. GTC Analytics’ ISHM tools can be customized to any water processing system to automate these processes for significant benefit to all involved stakeholders.
How it works:
ISHM models the configuration of the customer’s water filtration systems and ingests live sensor data to analyze their operation and predict failures such as filter clogging and pump failures. Algorithms then apply multivariable model-predictive controls to optimize user-selected parameters, including cost, output, system uptime, and maintenance frequency. GTC Analytics deployed this technology with a cloud-based approach that ties into legacy PLC systems for remote system control, data management, and predictive maintenance and warning systems.
